Is 802.11 WPA2-PSK operating in AES or TKIP encryption
Looking for AES Encryption in WPA2-PSK mode - does the R7450 model of the AC2600 Nighthawk operate with AES or the older TKIP encryption?

WPA2-AES is mandatory for 10+ years.
As per the nice documentation, R7450 User Manual p.66 you can select either WPA2-PSK [AES] only or WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] for backward compatibility with legacy clients.
