Issue with Netgear routers and TWC cable
I have the Netgear R7000 router with Time Warner Cable. Called TWC customer service today because my internet is quite slow. They said they are having issues with Netgear routers due to a firmwa...

Sounds like TWC's only option right now would be to back out of their change until they have resolved the issue. You should be looking for a free month of internet!!

That's pretty vague, from TWC.
Have you tested directly connected to the TWC box?
Is the TWC device set to bridge mode, or is actually a modem?
Slowness: Is it wired? wireless? both?
What is the link speed between TWC box and 7000?
What version of firmware are you running?
Have you upgraded the R7000 yet?
Did you reset the R7000 to factory default after upgrade?

I have had the same issue with my C3700. I called TWC as well, and they told me the same thing. They just rolled out the firmware update to V2.02.06. I have had issues ever since.
I'll go ahead and answer your questions.
The C3700 is a modem/router combo, I have tested both wireless and wired. Both are getting about 22 Kbps down and around 10 Mbps up.
I have not reset it to the factory settings after upgrade.
TWC told me they escalated the problem, and will contact me once it is resolved. That was 26 hours ago.

My internet starting working again without me doing anything. Not exactly sure what happened or if they did anything either.
