Issues after V1.0.4.2_1.1.41 upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded my firmware to V1.0.4.2_1.1.41.

Since doing this I cannot access my Nest thermostat (cameras are fine) or Smartthings hub.

The Nest is wireless through an EX7000 extender in AP mode and the Smartthings hub is wired.

I have reset the router after firmware install. Rebooted EX7000 and Nest/Smartthings hub but to no avail.

If i downgrade the firmware again everything works well.

What appears to happen is that when the V1.0.4.2_1.1.41 firmware is installed the EX7000 disappears from the attached devices list?

This is a little bit beyond me so some assistance would be great.

I have had numerous issues with the 1.0.4 firmware releases. They are simply buggy and not ready for release. I have also downgraded back to 1.0.3 to get things to work properly.

      Hi,

yes i tried that one as soon as it was released and had exactly the same issue.

Nest thermostat disconnects, smartthings hub won't connect and cannot view live views on Ring cameras either which I never noticed before.

I'm having to stick with firmware V1.0.3.54_1.1.37 which works fine.

  • I had a similar problem, but my issue were with my 1st Gen Amazon Fire TV and VIZO Smart TV Apps, they would connect but would't be able to reach and content, I had to downgrade my firmware back down to V1.0.3.48_1.1.33.
