Keep the orbi or go with ax8?
I am torn between the following: I have the 3 pack orbi ac3000 (not the new wifi 6 or newer series, the first one that came out with 2 satellites and router). I recently acquired the net gear ax8, ...
Smoother and easier to use/setup/manage? Probably the orbi as its designed to be a mesh and have a router controlling it.
You could probably coble together a different setup with the other devices but its not going to have as seamless roamiing and you'll have to manage each device on their own.
The older I get, the more I'm inclined to use devices that just work and I don't have to mess with 5 different things to get it functioning properly. Or that require a ton of messing with to troubleshoot.
If you've already got the device, you can always try out both setups and see what works best for you.
