that really did not seem straightforward and easy.
Netgear does not have proper documentation on how to do this? The link has a bunch of comments and suggestions, I dont know who and what to follow.
Is there a way to only allow certain IP's to connect to my VPN?

That certainly was my impression. Also, I just skimmed over that
procedure, but I got the impression that some of it was not the way
I'd've done things.
But if Telnet (shell) access to the router is a requirement, and
Netgear has removed that capability from every firmware version starting
with "V1.0.9.60_10.2.60" (2018-11-28), then it's not clear that
improving that procedure or its documentation would be helpful.
Whether that four-year-old procedure, if it could be used at all,
would still apply to more recent firmware versions is another mystery.

Still wondering.
