Latest firmware America only?
I received email from netgear today, heading:
"Important Security Update from NETGEAR:
New Firmware Is Available for Your Product"
then I log into admin panel, press update, no new firmware found (already on 1.0.7.12 ),
so I arrive the netgear dl page and observed there are a new firmware 1.0.8.34 (North America Only), but for North America only...
I am in HK(Asia). So now what does it means? Important security update but not rolled out to your country/ can not install?

You can install 1.0.8.34 on your router, i trieded in on my one and it works the same as 1.0.7.12. My router is pan Europe, not North America. Seems that they decided to do 1.0.8.34 for North America only due to law regularity in some countries for data collection.
