Hi.Update, i figured it out why one of my ports turned amber when pc was turned of. Advice from a Danish forum told me to go to device manager/adapter card/power management and untick box " allow this computer to turn off unit to save power" Don't know if this is the right term in English but you know what it means:) Now the light is pure white turned off and on:)

The manual explains what the LEDs show:
>>> R7800 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
Which LED are you talking about? A blinking LED usually means some sort of activity.

Well it's channel 1 who did but now after turning on my desktop pc it turned white again? My X4S is connected to this one: http://www.netgear.com/support/product/CG3000-1STAUS.aspx And the CG 3000 is set to NAT so i use my X4S in bridgemode. i can see in wifi connection section that i run 1000mb on lan. I don't think the CG 3000 has AC speed but does that matter when i use the X4S who has all the bells and whistle?

There are no LEDs for "channels".
If you mean the LED with 1 under it that is one of the Ethernet LAN ports.
See page 11 of the manual that I referred you to.

Lan port 1, sorry. But the amber only turns white when my pc is turned on and go back to amber when turned of ? Do i have to move the ethernet cable to another port?

No. It is just an indicator that it is working.
It is all spelled out on page 11 of the manual. (See above.)
