Logout issues with R6700v2 — Nighthawk AC1750

When selecting the 'Logout' icon, the following page shows that the logout was successful. However, I can launch a new browser page, enter the router IP address, and am taken directly to the router setup page without using password.

 

This is a brand new problem. Your help is much appreciated.

    Logout from what (the browser graphical user interface?) with what browser?

     

    Browsers do try to help by remembering login details.
