Lost access to Buffalo Linkstation NAS after firmware update and reboot of X10 R9000
I'm using Windows 10 pro and have an X10 R9000 Router that's been working great since 2019. Two days ago I installed version V1.0.5.42 firmware update and rebooted the router. Since then I can't acc...

Buffalo Model Number: LS-WTGL/R1-V3 LinkStation Pro Duo
I may have forgotten to mention that it is no longer visible to laptops on the network. One is Windows 10 the other is Windows 7. Both are wifi and had access previously.

There are help forums on the Buffalo Tech web site. Here is one link:

You can do your own review of the threads. There were recent updates to Windows that impacted devices that use SMB1 for network communication. I recall Windows disabled SMB1 and it is possible to re-enable it in Windows settings.
Put Windows SMB1 in your web browser search engine. Lots of information available. You just have to sort through it. Some may be scams and recommend you don't download and install "Help Site" software. Steer toward links to Microsoft articles.

That was a long time ago.

That's a ReadySHARE thing rather than NAS, but it might be worth reviewing.

Still unable to connect NAS to network. Troubleshooter continues to report that the 'The device is not set up to accept connections'.
Tried to print to my HP network printer today that has been working for years and is now showing offline. I printed yesterday without any issues, the computer and router were not powered off or rebooted, and no changes were made to the network in any way. I used troubleshooter and it's giving a similar message that 'The device is not set up to accept connections on port "9100"'. I signed into router through web access to view 'Attached Devices'. The printer and the NAS are listed but their ip addresses are 0.0.0.0 I tried rebooting both the router and computer with no luck. When viewing through 'access control' the ip addresses show up there. I've now lost 2 devices from my network and I'm about ready to try fixing the router with a sledge hammer. Any other suggestions?

That can be a sign of a network conflict.
Did you ever tell people what the modem/gateway is in front of this router? (I can't see at a quick glance.)
Did you also reboot modem > router > computer in that order>?

I took your suggestion and rebooted modem, router and computer in that order and now NAS Navigator 2 can't find it at all. I tried pinging it with the ip shown in 'access control' with no luck. Printer is also still not working
My modem is an ARRIS TM1602 supplied by my ISP Optimum
