You can do your own review of the threads. There were recent updates to Windows that impacted devices that use SMB1 for network communication. I recall Windows disabled SMB1 and it is possible to re-enable it in Windows settings.
Put Windows SMB1 in your web browser search engine. Lots of information available. You just have to sort through it. Some may be scams and recommend you don't download and install "Help Site" software. Steer toward links to Microsoft articles.
