Manual firmware update for R7960P Nighthawk X6S AC3600 Triband WiFi Router not working
Router is the Tri-band AC3600. Got a notice of update. First tried on phone app. That failed. So went to community for solutions and did the manual update solution.
First tried it via wireless connection. Went through motions of uploading and installing, but after re-logging in, firmware didn't update.
Then I plugged in via ethernet directly into router. same tasks again. Update doesn't stick.
Not sure what to do now. Current version is V1.4.1.50_1.3.10
Trying to update to V1.4.1.68_1.3.28

Good luck getting any resolution. I have been working for weeks on resolving this and searching this board etc...with no luck.
Might as well return it now if you can and buy a new router as you will never get past that update if it hasn't worked.
