Maximum internet connection speed of R7000?

I had the same concern with my 3 year old R7000 Nighthawk that runs my 1000 Mbps home network that I hardwired 15 years ago with category 5e 8 pin 8 connector wire. By following the advice on this thread, I saw marked improvement. Once I replaced ONE cable feeding a Linksys SE3016 10/100/1000 Mbps switch, my hardwired devices (TV streaming and Zoom) no longer buffers and my cell phone now connects to the R7000 at 866 Mbps. My internet connection is a $70/month Comcast Xfinity Performance Pro+ RG6 via a coaxial able that connects to a DOC SYS 3.1 modem. The Xfinity connection is sold as "up to 200 Mbps". Here in Seattle, Comcast overprovisions by 20% -- and now my computers run at 240 up and 6 down. So I am smiling again.
