Microsoft Outlook rejecting R7000P log files (Invalid Domain Name

I'm receiveing this error from Microsoft Outlook 2019 when i attempt to move, the incomming log file from my lovsl Router to a "Logs" folder. This only started occouring a few months ago when MS updated Office to account for the influx of invald addresses in headers arriving. (Aren't spammers wonderful)

My router sends the log to me via email  with the senders email being

"root@R7000P; on behalf of; xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.com.au"

How can i change the router log email header to be a valid address ?

Because of the rejections, it seems Outlook is forwarding my logs to the Junk folder (that only started after the last updates on Thursday). Another fun idea

Regards

Greg Patrick

Well hey , they've hardcoded an invalid domain name in the Firmware...

Thanks for that, Will have to come up with another solution, sick of spending time each day manually searching and moving the log files.

Might just have to turn them off.

      Dissapointing.

Outlook has no problem in applying rules to logs for me.

Without knowing which send and receive addresses you use, it is hard to advise on how best to go about this.

    Do you send via smtp-mail.outlook.com?

I filter on sent to address and in the subject.  Never seen any logs in the spam trap.
