I bought this router to replace xfinity one until they can come out to fix. But I can’t get it to connect to the internet at all

"fix" _what_, exactly?  Is there some actual problem which you are
trying to solve?  Is it a secret?

Just like your (unspecified) "xfinity one"?  Have you considered the
possibility that your (unspecified) "xfinity one" was not causing your
    (unspecified) original problem?

A vague description of what does _not_ happen is less useful than a
clear description of what _does_ happen.

"can't" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for the
LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".  Further reading might not hurt,
    either.

But, if your (unspecified) "xfinity one" was not causing your
(unspecified) original problem, then I would not expect replacing it to
    help much.

Your subject says C6220. That's a cable modem.router. Is that what you meant to buy? Do you know that it is compatible with your Internet service?

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    Cable Modems & Routers

That is where users of these devices hang out.
