Installed new router today.  Connected to my modem. Ethernet cable to my Laptop attached. All lights indicating white.  Received "Authentication Error".  Logged in repeatedly with ID and password.  S...

    I finally resolved my authentication issue.  I was using wrong password.  Thanking the community for all those who responded.

I finally resolved my authentication issue.  I was using wrong password.  Thanking the community for all those who responded.

      It takes a brave soul to own up to it. So thanks for the feedback. It could help later victims of the nightmare confusion of passwords that we all have to put up with.
