Modem Recommendation

Hello:   I am looking at the following modem CM2050V; however, do not see that it supports the dual frequency band. Specifically, looking for 2.4GHz frequency band to use with smart bulbs. Is there...

The CM2050V is a modem only device. It doesn't have wifi or any routing capability. 

If you purchase that modem, you'd need to add your own router to it.

    From reading the OPs question, he's looking for Xfinity-certified devices. Are you guys sure that CAX80 & co support Xfinity?

      Yes. The cax is supported on Xfinity
