My Google mini will not connect to my NETGEAR AC1000 R6080.
I can't connect my Google Mini speaker to the NETGEAR AC1000 R6080 router. App says I need a remote access account but NETGEAR Genie app says that is not available. Is there any way around this?

What app is saying you need a remote access account?
I've setup several google mini's on several systems and I haven't had issues.
what device are you using for setup?
What modem is the R6080 connected to?

The modem I'm using is supplied by Spectrum. The Netgear Genie app says that with the Netgear AC1000 R6080 a remote account is not available. I was able to somewhat connect the Google mini by using my phone and Bluetooth but all options for mini are not available. I was wondering if there is a way to connect router without having to create a remote access account?

Why do we care? What was the actual message? When you did what?
Forget the app and use a web browser?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Use a Web Browser to Access the Router".
