My router is choking my internet speed
Hello Folks, My router is slowing down my internet speed. I have a 400Mbit/40Mbit setup, and have verified that speed at the modem. But on the router side it is choked down to 160Mbit. ...
I have the R6400v2.
Cable modem DOCSIS 3
None of that is on.
It was working at the specified speed and now doesn't.
I am guessi g when I did the firmware update, that broke it.
Now I can barely get 200Mbit throughput.

You might try updating to the latest 1.0.4.126 firmware, then doing a factory reset and reinstall.
