MyNetgear account - verification email link not working

To use the Nighthawk app for Android, I am required to sign up to a myNetgear account. I create the account and received an verification email from Netgear. I click the HERE link to verify (details redacted).
https://www.netgear.com/sso/confirmemail.aspx?email=《email address is here》&emailConfirmationCode=《confirmation code here》

But it leads to an error page:

Have tried just copying url and multiple browsers. Created an account with one time password to post this in the community. Any advice would be appreciated.
