Need cat5 wifi access point solution for my R6700
I have a R6700 Nighthawk AC1750 wifi router that works great for my house. I have CAT5 run from this R6700/AC1750 to a shop which is outside its wifi range. What low cost NetGear product can I get ...

BAsed on what you stated I picked the
NETGEAR WAC104 Dual Band Wireless AC1200 Access Point
It states "Standalone access point with mess, client, and AP mode for SOHO"
I am thinking the "AP mode for SOHO" means it will do what you are suggesting (hooking it up to my existing router in access mode), eventhough I don't know what SOHO means.
Funny how I used to build my own computers in the 90s and now I can barely spell computer.
