Need help pls

  i just got my xr300 today and i have no idea about bridge mode. I don't know how it work can i use xr300 with my family xfinity modem/router combo without putting in bridge mode for gaming ps5....

what actual gatewa is it from xfinity?

 did you try putting the netgear IP address into the xfinity's dmz? 

or putting the netgear into access point mode

      I can't access dmz on xfinity 

       

      If i put xr300 on ap mode. Can I use all the features that the router have . Like gaming features.

        No you wouldn't. 

        So your options are this. 

        1. keep the double nat setup you have. 

        2. figure out how to to put the Netgears IP address into the xfinity's DMZ (try calling xfinity for help with this)

        3. put the netgear into AP mode and miss out on some features. 

         

        its a problem of cascading routers
