Need help to activate my router replacement from one NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 R7000 to exact same 1.
NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 R7000
I am NOT computer illiterate. My old Nighthawk AC1900 R7000 gave out and replaced it with the exact same model. Reason: my work requires me to use a VPN and this model is the only compatible one for the vpn service. Got a new one but I can't seem to activate it. Again, don't the exact phraseology. Help Please.

I find it difficult to imagine you found a new in the box R7000. If it was previously used, the first step is to perform a firmware default (reset) then go through the initial configuration.
Did you purchase the replacement router direct from a VPN service provider?
