Need help with getting the right wifi extender to go with my IInet modem

Thanks for your comment. I dont have a router! Do i need to get one? The home is a long, single level, narrow 3 bed, by 2 bath home. The room i want to work in is approx 20 square metres away from where the modem is (ie: at the back of house and the modem is at front of house).
i just converted m2 (square metres) into feet which is 215.278
Forgot to say.... Intertior walls are double brick
That brick is probably your issue. Brick is one of the top blocking materials of wifi.
any chance of using an ethernet run, power line adapters, or moca (ethernet over coax) adapters?
