Need restore SMB1 or SMB v1 support for ReadyShare Storage.
I use a small USB external HD in the ReadShare Storage as a music library for SONOS S1 controller. This has worked fine for years but for months now it is not working anymore. The SONOS support inf...

I don't think it was FW, maybe was Windows update? I know MS disabled SMBv1 with in Windows. It can be re-enabled I think for Windows.

Almost correct. Microsoft introduced a SMB 1.0/CIFS Automatic Removal service which kicked in if there are no SMB 1.0/CIFS client connections active for a certain time. Check the Windows Features - Turn Windows features on off controls ... it's all there. Yes, it came in with some Windows Upgrade feature enhancements a loooong time ago.

Allow me to show what I have:
(1) The ReadySHARE USB Storage page.
(2) The Windows resources with SMB v1 disabled
(3) The working ReadySHARE USB Storage local network.
(4) SONOS S1 network share page
(5) SONOS S1 error
R7000 must be working currently with SMB v2 or v3 ( I do not know ). But not v1, for sure.
R7000 was working with v1 in the past ( do not recall when ) and all was OK.
SONOS S1 application depends of v1 and it worked for many years.
Currently it is not working anymore, because R7000 is working with SMB v2 or v3.
I need to move the firmware back to a version that was using v1 but I do now know what.
Does this make sense?

The next illusion you are keeping up is that the \\readyshare\ name resolution - technically it's NetBIOS or NetBEUI - is still active without any Microsoft SMB 1.0/CIFS code in place. One of many things wrong in your proof of concept.
Completely obscure is the "jump" from the network location \\readyshare\USB_Storage to the Sonos serverstack ....

I started to search what is the last version of the router firmware I need to use to still have SMB v1 support.
I started the search by version 9.64 and ...
Downgrade to firmware 9.64 [SMB v1 based] and now everything works as before (that is what I need):
(1) Windows can NOT add network location without SMB v1 installed (by the way, I do not care about this).
(2) SONOS S1 can add music library from router NAS (with small usb hd attached).Upgrade to firmware 11.136 [SMB v2 based] and now SONOS S1 does NOT work anymore:
(1) Windows can add network location without SMB v1 installed (by the way, I do not care about this).
(2) SONOS S1 can NOT add music library from router NAS (small usb had). Now I need to discover among all those firmwares what is the firmware between 9.64 and 11.136 that replaced SMB v1 to SMB v2.
By the way, that was the original question. Some images to illustrate:
(1) SONOS S1 working fine and finding the music library in the router.
(2) SONOS S1 (on Windows without SMB v1) showing the directories in the music library.
(3) Windows without SMB v1 can not find the music library (by the way, I do not need that).
