Ah no, would not be a defective router, rather your wireless devices maybe to close to the router and operating on or near same 2.4Ghz frequencies as the router has thus your devices are picking up wifi radio interferences from the router. This is problematic for devices that use 2.4Ghz frequencies.

To the best of my knowledge I actually turned 2.4 off last night through the web. The problem still persists. Although the 2.4 g was still lit up on the actual box itself.
My PS5 is plugged in through Ethernet. What in the world should I do? My parents have the same router as me and yesterday I went over there and took my PS5 and it was fine.
