NETGEAR AC1900 model R7000 is messing up my PlayStation 5 Bluetooth. Help
Hey there everyone. So about two weeks ago I noticed my audio would drop or stutter from my controller. At first I assumed a poor cable. But then I went on to test 3 different headsets same result. I...

Wired. Always wired. I plug the headset into the controller because I don’t feel like dealing with the amp anymore lol. I have 2 Astro A40 headsets. Used a skull candy one and then a wired Sony.
When my controller is connected to the console(Bluetooth off mode)or when I use my amp I have zero issues.

Also sounds like a bad interference handling with the controller when it's wirelessly(BT) connected to the console. Something you might ask Sony about.

Contacting Sony? Why? It works perfectly at another residence as I have stated. And I have 3 different controllers tested. 2 for PS5 and one for PS4. I just can’t imagine what they would add to the conversation besides check your router and your neighbors
Believe me I wish it was a controller issue. I could simply replace or repair

And you turned OFF the wifi on the R7000 and checked with this configuration and still have interference problems?
Also had this been working before or has this been something that just started happening?

Do you mean WiFi off but the router still on? Then yeah i still had issues. The jury is still out on whether I have issues when power is completely cut off. I’ll definitely let ya know on that one. I’ll test that tonight with a headset cable I know is brand new.
Good question! My first two experiences with this router were terrible. I moved into an apartment last September and bought the router. After a few weeks lost connection constantly. Refunded it and bought a new one. Same thing. Third time was the charm and haven’t had one issue for 11 months straight. The reason I chose this router was because of recommendations by family. Although after time they have also experienced weird issues (most of which resolved themselves).
But yeah this started at the end of July. Nothing new is my home. My instinct tells me there’s two problems going on. Maybe my router doesn’t like something new my neighbors added.
I appreciate your time and I’m sorry for the essay(wanted to add most information possible). I hope you have a good weekend. I will get back to you on the issue of whether there is definitely a problem with fully off. 👍
