Hello Looking at signing up for Netgear armor. We have an Xbox one hardwired to the router. Does Netgear armor slow or interfere with the Xbox functionality

Owners of the R7000P hang out here. This is a technical question, probably better answered here than in a general slot where there is next to no traffic.
In general, anything that strains the router's processor risks slowing things down. Armor, Circle, QoS, all have been implicated in speed hits.
I didn't notice this when beta testing the R7000P. But even if it does put a brake in things, it may not be big enough to be noticeable.
