Netgear EX 6250 Not connecting to devices
Hi, My WIFI Mesh Extender EX6250 is not connecting to devices, each time i have to restart the extender to connect to any device. Please help me on how to resolve this issue.
when its "not connecting" what actual error are you getting or seeing?
Also, you might try upgrading to the 1.0.0.146 firmware, then do a factory reset/reinstall.
It does not give any error in mobile or laptop it tries to connect with the circle sign and after a minute or two it switches to other network same thing applies if i try to connect mobile, iphone, laptop. But if i restart the extender than i can connect everything to it..... and if i go away from the network range and come back in the range then it does not connect to the devices and the above point continues until i restart the router
did you try upgrading the firmware then factory resetting/reinstalling?
Also, are you using the mesh function? (one wifi?)
I have just done with the firmware upgradation as per your suggestion. I am not using the Mesh function.
will test now and comment on the change post firmware upgradation.
another thing to try is setting a static ip address in your router for the extender. (if it doesn't work with the firmware upgrade)
