Netgear Genie : Every log in = password recovery
EVERYTIME I log in I have to use password recovery... My username and password is correct. I log in... password recovery. Log in 10 minutes later.... password recovery! I bought the router yesterday and at this rate it's going back!
You have to disable password recovery... really stupid!

Have you tried setting the password again?Hi, I've used the same details as used when I 1st got the router. I have used various new username/password combinations and been resetting the router more times than I should. All customer service is advicing is to reset the router and go through setup again and again until the issue is fixed.
TBH this is why I flashed DD-WRT the day I bought it (3 months ago). I came back to netgear firmware to see if anythings changed... does not look like it.
I am using a Mac Book and Safari... not going to install other browsers just to log in to a router.
