Netgear Internet Connectivity

I have a NETGEAR Model R6400v2 Router, fully connected by LAN cable to my Internet provider box, but when trying to connect my laptop the message says no internet. Nevertheless my TV wireless connection from the provider box works perfectly. Any recommendations.

    What model is your gateway/modem from the isp?

    How are you connecting the laptop? Wifi? Wired?

     

    Where do you see "the message"?

     

    What is this laptop? Windows? Mac?
