When I ran an internet speed test in the past for my R6700 router using the Nighthawk app, I would consistently receive a download speed of 220 Mbps. My ISP service is 200 Mbps. My understanding is...
The built in speedtest doesn't always pick the best server. it could have been that it picked a poor server for the app test.
I've seen that happen. If you're hitting full speed on the hardwired test with your laptop, I wouldn't worry about it.
