Netgear Nighthawk WiFi hotspot question

I am looking for a simple and cheap solution for internet at my workshop.

I have no interest in purchasing a full on plan for internet there. I only work there one or two days a week, no neighbors to use their wireless. So what I am considering is using my phone as a hotspot, bridged (?) to something like the Nighthawk to get internet on my tablet or chromebook, maybe even my Roku... but probably not.

Is this possible?

I have read what I can, watched videos and no one seems to have a direct answer if I can do this.

What Nighthawk product are you referring too?

Is the workshop on the same mains circuit as your home? No fancy mains fuse boxes?

You could look into Powerline Ethernet.
