NETGEAR PLEASE WAKE UP! R8000 and Internet Speeds
So I upgraded to 1gigabit internet in November 2020 and Cable company sent me their own router. I gave it a go and it was doing 890-920 speeds wired but the wireless was horrible because we have man...
1. The reason they don't respond is this is the community support forum. Where members of the public help out. We're not netgear. We're just people helping.
2. What modem is the r8000 connected to?
3. After the update, did you do a factory reset and new install? Don't use a backup configuration and during the install make sure to leave qos, access control, parental controls, and traffic monitoring all disabled.then try it.

So the employees of the company are NOT part of the community, how wonderful they dont feel they are part of the community. Also
when you try going through their support you would have more luck getting McDonalds to sell you a Whopper than for them to admit their
firmware is flawed.

Yes, tried that multiple times, multiple ways. I even turned off wifi, PC direct to Modem, 960Mbps, .28 firmware 890Mpbs, .68 firmware 367Mbps, .74 firmware 312Mbps, revert back to .28 888Mbps.
This is with QoS and security features OFF after a factory reset DIRECTLY wired to the router with a SINGLE High end gaming PC only hooked up, even tried with WiFi OFF.
