Netgear R 7000 Lan Ports not working
Hello who can help My R7000 does not use lan ports 1 and 3, ports 2 and 4 are working fine. How can i resolve this Thanks in advance

1. what firmware is on the router?
2. how long have they been not working?
3. if you swap a device onto one of those ports, will it work?
4. what caused it to stop working? (storm, dropped, firmware update, etc)
5. have you tried a simple factory reset and reinstall?

Hello ,thanks for the reply:
1. what firmware is on the router? V1.0.11.106_10.2.100
2. how long have they been not working? From day 1
3. if you swap a device onto one of those ports, will it work? Changing has te same effect ,port 1 and 3 don t work, 2 and 4 do
4. what caused it to stop working? (storm, dropped, firmware update, etc) No idea
5. have you tried a simple factory reset and reinstall? Yes no effect

have you tried installing the latest 1.0.11.128 firmware for that router?

Installed firmware 1.0.11.128(rebooted) , still ports 1 and 3 not active
Lan cable active on port 2 switched to 1 and 3 without succes
Please advice

If this has been going on from day 1, I'd open a support case with netgear.
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.

sounds like those 2 ports are dead for some reason. You can't really do much to fix them if the ports are technically dead.
