Netgear R6700 Router not working after firmware upgrade
I was investigating an issue with my wifi printer not being recognized by my PC and went into the router menu at routerlogin.com. There I noticed a notification that a firmware update was available...

Edit: I also wanted to mention that the indicator lights seem to be operating normally, like the router thinks it's working, except that nothing can connect to it.
Does this mean that the power LED is "Solid white"?
If so, steer clear of TFTP. Your router is unlikely to have corrupt firmware. You may well do permanent damage if you persevere.
What does this mean?

From that point I lost all WIFI to the house.
Do the wifi LEDs also look right? Both on?
Start at the beginning. What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.

I just checked and the power LED is not a solid white but a flashing white. The only other LED that comes on is the one for the port when I have the PC plugged into it. I'm not sure which ones are the WIFI LED lights but it seemed like all the normal lights were on when I plugged in the cable from the modem to the router and the PC to the router.
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to know what firmware my router currently is (or was) when I am completely unable to communicate with it? The new one I downloaded from the Netgear website to try to install using TFTP is V1.0.2.16_10.0.57.
The modem in front of the router is an Arris WBM760A. Just a modem, not a modem/router.

I just tried out the nfmrpflash method I found out about on another thread and was also unsuccessful. Links for nmrpflash:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/General-WiFi-Routers-Non/nmrpflash-How-To/td-p/1735429https://github.com/jclehner/nmrpflash

Error message I got was Timeout while waiting for TFTP_UL_REQ.
Seems there is no way to communicate with the router. Going to head to walmart later today to pick up a new router...
