Netgear R7000 nighthawk settings for xbox 1 x
So im super new to this and i am just trying to figure out the best possible settings for my xbox one x (currently using wifi for now) Im slowing learning what this QoS is for and port forwarding...

Well i ended up just factory resetting the router and now im getting around 230-240 mbps on both, latency is around 50-60 which i wish i could get a little lower, i think i might of messed up something in the QoS setup

Should be same wired...sure wire is of good quality? CAT6 is recommended.
Make sure you set up QoS priorities for the LAN cable connection.

Ok, I presumed it may have been a mis configuration. You'll be fine on wired.
- XRaptor29Feb 20, 2018LuminaryI just replaced my R7000 with a XR500 because it kept dogging the wifi down after a few days even on the latest firmware, Wired was perfectly fine though. Rebooting the router would fix it temporarily.
