Netgear R7000P VPN Disconnects after 30-45 minutes

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping you can help me with a peculiar issue I seem to be encountering. I connect wirelessly from my Dell Windows laptop and use a VPN for my work. The strange (and very annoying) thing is that I get disconnected after about 30-45 minutes. My IT suggested connecting through a LAN cable and checking if this happens again. I connected through the LAN cable and I got disconnected after an hour or so. 

Now this happens only when I am connected to the Netgear router. If I connect through another router or my phone hotspot, this issue does not come up.

I am using a Nighthawk R7000P, on Firmware Version V1.3.1.64_10.1.36. I'm fairly new at this stuff, so if there's any tips or suggestions or more information that you need, please let me know.
