Netgear r7900p not producing gig speed at router
So my local ISP recently upgraded me to Gig speeds. I have a Arris surfboard modem that is getting gig speeds however my router will not produce these speeds at the ports. wifi 5ghz is 240mbs at...
If you had a recent speed change, factory reset the R7900 and reinstall it.
During the install, make sure to leave qos, access controls, parental controls, and traffic monitoring all disabled.
You should be able to get full gigabit over wired but your wireless will probably only hit 300-400mbps over 5g if you're close.
