Netgear R8000 to Netgear unmanaged switch GS316 stopped working after firmware upgrade.
I have a xfinity modem -> nighthawk r8000 router -> Netgear unmanaged switch (GS316) which combo was working fine until last week! Now after the firmware upgrade all WiFi works fine. but the ethernet...
You can try saving a backup configuration and reinstalling that after the reset.
But try the switch after the reset and default configuration. If it works but not after you resetore, then you know you need manually reinstall it and not use the backup.

The Leds do light up. They also do on the device. as if its trying to connect and keeps getting disconnected. I have not tried the factory reset cause of the pain to set it up all over again. Is there an easier way to do it and get back all the configs?
