Netgear router - setting up priority for 5GHZ and 2.4GHZ

Hi there id want to ask how do I installation priority for a positive device to have it on the 5GhZ wifi as an alternative then the two.Four. I cant flip off the 2.4 currently so thats now not an choice.
Before a few sort of patch for the routerlogin.Internet it turned into effortlessly handled however now I cant seem to locate it at all and my desktop always connects to the 2.4 even as I set it up months ago to the five one.

    Not possible on router level. It's actually then client that picks up a band.

    what wireless card is it? 

    What OS is it installed in? 
    If its windows, you can set a preferred band for some devices
