Netgear router, 5 GHz can not be selected to Auto. Have a potential solution. Any thoughts?
Hello guys, I currently have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000, which is an excellent router and I really enjoy it. However, something I noticed is that the 5GHz can not be selected to an Auto channel, so on...
5Ghz has never had the Auto option. Not a 5Ghz spec so just pick something or pick a channel thats not busy with neighboring wifi signals. If your in a congested area, try and reduce the transmit power on the router from 100% to 50% or lower if the router has this feature.
