Netgear router woes.

Hey guys, so as the title says I have a Netgear router and as a result, I keep getting dropped out of races.

 

I've read the forums and talked to support regarding the issue, according to the forum and the support agent I need to change the ports in my router but I don't know how to do that. if anyone can tell me how that would be great.

    Details might help.

    1. What router do you have? 

    2. what firmware are you on? 

    3. what modem/gateway is it connected to? 

    4. What gaming setup are you on? pc/console/etc

    5. how is it connected to the router? wired? 2.4ghz? 5ghz?

    6. is it only one game or all games? 

    7. is it only 1 device that is having issues or multiple devices? 

     

    Also, you posted in the business forum for switches. without knowing what device you have its tough to tell you which forum to actually post in but you'll get better help in an actual consumer side router forum.
