NETGEAR WiFi Router (R6230) - AC1200 is cutting my speed to 1/10 of what I'm paying for

Hello thank you. I apologize for the lack of info provided I was not sure what to provide.
Router Firmware Version
V1.1.0.50_1.0.1
I attempted to update but it said this was the latest version
Modem - motorola MB8611
Wired connection
I'm using my main computer to speed test.

Has a full factory reset and setup from scratch been performed while powering OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute then back ON?
No worries, will ask to have this moved.

Can press the reset button in back for 10 seconds then release. Have a wired PC connected to the back of the router and walk thru the setup wizard with a web brower at 192.168.1.1...

Okay that helped immensley. Im supposed to be getting 275 mbps dl previously it was 30ish. After the factory reset it is up to 170ish.
