What are you trying to do if you've already got an ISP (that service sucks with) ?

Any wifi device you buy needs its own Internet connection. You pay someone else for that.
Netgear is not an Internet service provider. No subscription needed to use its stuff on the Internet, unless you want to pay for added security features..
