Netgear wifirouter R7900P is not blocking
Very concerned. I've added googleusercontenet.net in the block site, fire wireshark and it still goes there. Doesn't show as blocked. What gives?

is it an HTTPS site?
If so, blocking won't work as its encrypted

For better informed feedback could be it might help if joblack4949 explained why they want to block these sites.

I don't understand it.
Seems to confuse incoming and outgoing.

You seem to be missing some network fundamentals. I don't care what the ssh encrypts. The packet sent across the wire, amongst other things, it contains the destination. That is at the network layer (layer3). And that is what a router functions at. It is a layer 3 device. That said, no one cares what is being transmitted and again, i am fully aware data is encrypted, but i would expected as a quite expensive router it is capable of blocking destinations.
