Netgear X4s AC2600 WiFi Firmware update information

We have just been notified that there will be an implementation of new functionality on our fiber to the node/building (FTTN/B) technology that might impact our internet service.

We just need to find out that our current VDSL modem will have a firmware update to support the Save Our Showtime (SOS) and Robust Overhead Channel (ROC) functions that are required. 

Can anyone help where we can find this information? Thank you.

    those service are for dsl. If you're using fibre,  you shouldnt' need to worry

      Yes, it is for DSL actually. So just need to find out if need to get any firmware update.

        that gateway does get updates but I'm not sure if it supports those services.
