Netgear94

Just bought a condo that includes free WiFi and came with the previous owner's Netgear 94 router. She created her own password, but has now forgotten it, so I'm unable to get WiFi. How can I re-set the password without having wifi available in my unit to do so?

There a model# or product name for this item?

I would factory reset this unit and setup from scratch and give a new SSID name and password.

How do I perform a factory reset on my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Then set the thing up by following the instructions.

Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Look for the model number on the label on the device.

Begin with the Quick Start/Installation Guide.

Check the section in the manual Specify Basic WiFi Settings.
