Were you able to apply the firmware beta and did it resolve the invaid MAC address problem?
I have been using the beta firmware for a few days now and it works fine.
MAC Address Reservation Issue Is Fixed
- I too would be interested in the Beta firmware. Did the beta firmware also fix the incorrect connection listing in the connected devices screen?
- Oops sorry about that, distracted by Christmas. I have a model R7960P.
- Good to read that the beta is working out for folks! That said, I’m rocking an R8000P and I’d like to get in on some of this sweet beta action for myself.

I've been using the beta 1.4.4.95 firmware for a couple of weeks now on my R7960P. That fixed the MAC address issue and the missing/incorrect connection information. However I've discovered two issues:
A) Traffic meter does not work correctly. There is nothing displayed for yesterday (zeros), and this week & this month are always the same numbers as today. Last months numbers seem to be correct (maybe), but hard to know.
B) Email notification incorrect. I have to set to email me the logs weekly Sunday @ 00:00 and what I get in the email is valid data (log info) for the day before (Saturday). The rest of the text in the email is hundreds of lines of "Wednesday, Dec 31,1969 16:00:00"

Another update - On my R7960P using the 1.4.4.95 firmware, in ADVANCED HOME -> SHOW STATISTICS, there's actually a few issues.
- WAN port line shows zero for TX B/S, RX B/S (however LAN ports show non-zero TX B/S, RX B/S)
- All 3 radio lines show zeros for TXPKTS, TX B/S, RX B/S
Additionally the COLLISIONS column is all zeros, which is normally what it should be, however given other fields are zero, this should be reviewed because maybe it's just not reporting collisions.

Can someone share beta firmware to try. I am having issues with latest firmware. (R8000P)
Still waiting for R7960P beta firmware....
I gave up waiting for someone to send me a beta firmware to fix issues with "invalid MAC address" errors. Netgear took too long to fix critical defects. I moved on to use another router with FreshTomato firmware.
