The buggy 1.4.4.94 firmware was released almost a year ago (Oct '22) and the best we have is a beta release to address its issues (thanks for at least that). But as others point out, even the beta has some issues too.
Will we ever get an official new firmware or are we just dead in the water? I've searched high/low for open firmware and the best I can find is OPENWRT for an R8000P however folks complained of no wi-fi, only wired. I tired to flash mine, but could not get the TTL interface to work.
Oh I wish any open firmware was an option for us.
I have an R7960P that suffers from the same MAC address but reported here.
If someone could please provide me with the beta firmware that fixes this, I would sure appreciate it!
