New defective product
Product did not work out the box... tried all troubleshooting methods. Open over 5 support cases with Netgear Support, they never responded, and naturally the support thing just expired. The device does not detect Ethernet connection on the Internet port, factory reset etc same cable wired to any other device including the Xfinity router has no issues with the 15 to 20 cat 5, 5e, and 6 cables I tried.
